How To Uninstall edbrowse On Debian 9

To uninstall edbrowse just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just edbrowse

/bin/ed-alike webbrowser written in CDebian 9.0net3.6.1-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove edbrowse

This will remove just the edbrowse package itself.

Uninstall edbrowse and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove edbrowse

This will remove the edbrowse package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for edbrowse then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge edbrowse

Or similarly, like this edbrowse

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove edbrowse
