How To Uninstall editra On Debian 9

To uninstall editra just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just editra

simple multi-platform text editorDebian 9.0editors0.7.20+dfsg.1-3
sudo apt-get remove editra

This will remove just the editra package itself.

Uninstall editra and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove editra

This will remove the editra package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for editra then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge editra

Or similarly, like this editra

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove editra
