How To Uninstall efax On Debian 9

To uninstall efax just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just efax

programs to send and receive fax messagesDebian 9.0comm1:0.9a-19.1
sudo apt-get remove efax

This will remove just the efax package itself.

Uninstall efax and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove efax

This will remove the efax package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for efax then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge efax

Or similarly, like this efax

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove efax
