How To Uninstall efibootmgr On Debian 9

To uninstall efibootmgr just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just efibootmgr

Interact with the EFI Boot ManagerDebian 9.0admin14-2
sudo apt-get remove efibootmgr

This will remove just the efibootmgr package itself.

Uninstall efibootmgr and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove efibootmgr

This will remove the efibootmgr package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for efibootmgr then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge efibootmgr

Or similarly, like this efibootmgr

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove efibootmgr
