How To Uninstall ejabberd-mod-cron On Debian 9

To uninstall ejabberd-mod-cron just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ejabberd-mod-cron

execute scheduled commandsDebian 9.0net0.2016.09.12~dfsg0-2
sudo apt-get remove ejabberd-mod-cron

This will remove just the ejabberd-mod-cron package itself.

Uninstall ejabberd-mod-cron and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ejabberd-mod-cron

This will remove the ejabberd-mod-cron package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ejabberd-mod-cron then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ejabberd-mod-cron

Or similarly, like this ejabberd-mod-cron

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ejabberd-mod-cron
