How To Uninstall ejabberd-mod-pottymouth On Debian 9

sudo apt-get remove ejabberd-mod-pottymouth

This will remove just the ejabberd-mod-pottymouth package itself.

Uninstall ejabberd-mod-pottymouth and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ejabberd-mod-pottymouth

This will remove the ejabberd-mod-pottymouth package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ejabberd-mod-pottymouth then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ejabberd-mod-pottymouth
