How To Uninstall eject On Debian 9

To uninstall eject just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just eject

ejects CDs and operates CD-Changers under LinuxDebian 9.0utils2.1.5+deb1+cvs20081104-13.2
sudo apt-get remove eject

This will remove just the eject package itself.

Uninstall eject and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove eject

This will remove the eject package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for eject then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge eject

Or similarly, like this eject

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove eject
