How To Uninstall ekeyd On Debian 9

To uninstall ekeyd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ekeyd

Simtec Electronics UDEKEY01 Entropy Key DaemonDebian 9.0utils1.1.5-6.2
sudo apt-get remove ekeyd

This will remove just the ekeyd package itself.

Uninstall ekeyd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ekeyd

This will remove the ekeyd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ekeyd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ekeyd

Or similarly, like this ekeyd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ekeyd
