How To Uninstall elinks-data On Debian 9

To uninstall elinks-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elinks-data

advanced text-mode WWW browser - data filesDebian 9.0web0.12~pre6-12
sudo apt-get remove elinks-data

This will remove just the elinks-data package itself.

Uninstall elinks-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elinks-data

This will remove the elinks-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elinks-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elinks-data

Or similarly, like this elinks-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elinks-data
