How To Uninstall elog On Debian 9

To uninstall elog just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elog

Logbook system to manage notes through a Web interfaceDebian 9.0web3.1.2-1-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove elog

This will remove just the elog package itself.

Uninstall elog and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elog

This will remove the elog package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elog then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elog

Or similarly, like this elog

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elog
