How To Uninstall elpa-deferred On Debian 9

To uninstall elpa-deferred just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-deferred

simple asynchronous functions for Emacs LispDebian 9.0lisp0.5.0-1
sudo apt-get remove elpa-deferred

This will remove just the elpa-deferred package itself.

Uninstall elpa-deferred and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-deferred

This will remove the elpa-deferred package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-deferred then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-deferred

Or similarly, like this elpa-deferred

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-deferred
