How To Uninstall elpa-editorconfig On Debian 9

To uninstall elpa-editorconfig just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-editorconfig

coding style indenter for all editors - Emacsen pluginDebian 9.0editors0.4+git20151028.3835e4-1
sudo apt-get remove elpa-editorconfig

This will remove just the elpa-editorconfig package itself.

Uninstall elpa-editorconfig and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-editorconfig

This will remove the elpa-editorconfig package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-editorconfig then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-editorconfig

Or similarly, like this elpa-editorconfig

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-editorconfig
