How To Uninstall elpa-elfeed On Debian 9

To uninstall elpa-elfeed just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-elfeed

Emacs Atom/RSS feed readerDebian 9.0lisp2.0.1-1
sudo apt-get remove elpa-elfeed

This will remove just the elpa-elfeed package itself.

Uninstall elpa-elfeed and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-elfeed

This will remove the elpa-elfeed package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-elfeed then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-elfeed

Or similarly, like this elpa-elfeed

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-elfeed
