How To Uninstall elpa-ert-async On Debian 9

To uninstall elpa-ert-async just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-ert-async

asynchronous tests for the Emacs ERT testing frameworkDebian 9.0lisp0.1.2-1
sudo apt-get remove elpa-ert-async

This will remove just the elpa-ert-async package itself.

Uninstall elpa-ert-async and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-ert-async

This will remove the elpa-ert-async package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-ert-async then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-ert-async

Or similarly, like this elpa-ert-async

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-ert-async
