How To Uninstall elpa-evil-paredit On Debian 9

To uninstall elpa-evil-paredit just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-evil-paredit

emacs extension, integrating evil and pareditDebian 9.0lisp0.0.2-1
sudo apt-get remove elpa-evil-paredit

This will remove just the elpa-evil-paredit package itself.

Uninstall elpa-evil-paredit and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-evil-paredit

This will remove the elpa-evil-paredit package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-evil-paredit then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-evil-paredit

Or similarly, like this elpa-evil-paredit

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-evil-paredit
