How To Uninstall elpa-f On Debian 9

To uninstall elpa-f just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-f

modern API for working with files and directories in Emacs LispDebian 9.0lisp0.19.0-1
sudo apt-get remove elpa-f

This will remove just the elpa-f package itself.

Uninstall elpa-f and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-f

This will remove the elpa-f package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-f then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-f

Or similarly, like this elpa-f

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-f
