How To Uninstall elpa-git-timemachine On Debian 9

To uninstall elpa-git-timemachine just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-git-timemachine

walk through git revisions of a fileDebian 9.0lisp3.0-1
sudo apt-get remove elpa-git-timemachine

This will remove just the elpa-git-timemachine package itself.

Uninstall elpa-git-timemachine and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-git-timemachine

This will remove the elpa-git-timemachine package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-git-timemachine then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-git-timemachine

Or similarly, like this elpa-git-timemachine

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-git-timemachine
