How To Uninstall elpa-helm-core On Debian 9

To uninstall elpa-helm-core just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-helm-core

Emacs Helm library filesDebian 9.0lisp2.5.0-1
sudo apt-get remove elpa-helm-core

This will remove just the elpa-helm-core package itself.

Uninstall elpa-helm-core and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-helm-core

This will remove the elpa-helm-core package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-helm-core then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-helm-core

Or similarly, like this elpa-helm-core

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-helm-core
