How To Uninstall elpa-ledger On Debian 9

To uninstall elpa-ledger just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-ledger

command-line double-entry accounting program (emacs interface)Debian 9.0utils3.1.2~pre1+g3a00e1c+dfsg1-2
sudo apt-get remove elpa-ledger

This will remove just the elpa-ledger package itself.

Uninstall elpa-ledger and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-ledger

This will remove the elpa-ledger package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-ledger then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-ledger

Or similarly, like this elpa-ledger

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-ledger
