How To Uninstall elpa-pdf-tools-server On Debian 9

To uninstall elpa-pdf-tools-server just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-pdf-tools-server

server for Emacs's pdf-toolsDebian 9.0text0.70-3
sudo apt-get remove elpa-pdf-tools-server

This will remove just the elpa-pdf-tools-server package itself.

Uninstall elpa-pdf-tools-server and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-pdf-tools-server

This will remove the elpa-pdf-tools-server package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-pdf-tools-server then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-pdf-tools-server

Or similarly, like this elpa-pdf-tools-server

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-pdf-tools-server
