How To Uninstall elpa-restart-emacs On Debian 9

To uninstall elpa-restart-emacs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-restart-emacs

restart emacs from within emacsDebian 9.0lisp0.1.1-1
sudo apt-get remove elpa-restart-emacs

This will remove just the elpa-restart-emacs package itself.

Uninstall elpa-restart-emacs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-restart-emacs

This will remove the elpa-restart-emacs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-restart-emacs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-restart-emacs

Or similarly, like this elpa-restart-emacs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-restart-emacs
