How To Uninstall elpa-simple-httpd On Debian 9

To uninstall elpa-simple-httpd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elpa-simple-httpd

pure elisp HTTP serverDebian 9.0lisp1.4.6-2
sudo apt-get remove elpa-simple-httpd

This will remove just the elpa-simple-httpd package itself.

Uninstall elpa-simple-httpd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elpa-simple-httpd

This will remove the elpa-simple-httpd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elpa-simple-httpd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elpa-simple-httpd

Or similarly, like this elpa-simple-httpd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elpa-simple-httpd
