How To Uninstall emacs-mozc On Debian 9

To uninstall emacs-mozc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just emacs-mozc

Mozc for EmacsDebian 9.0utils2.19.2623.102+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove emacs-mozc

This will remove just the emacs-mozc package itself.

Uninstall emacs-mozc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove emacs-mozc

This will remove the emacs-mozc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for emacs-mozc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge emacs-mozc

Or similarly, like this emacs-mozc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove emacs-mozc
