How To Uninstall engrampa On Debian 9

To uninstall engrampa just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just engrampa

archive manager for MATEDebian 9.0x111.16.0-2
sudo apt-get remove engrampa

This will remove just the engrampa package itself.

Uninstall engrampa and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove engrampa

This will remove the engrampa package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for engrampa then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge engrampa

Or similarly, like this engrampa

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove engrampa
