How To Uninstall enscribe On Debian 9

To uninstall enscribe just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just enscribe

convert images into soundsDebian 9.0sound0.1.0-2
sudo apt-get remove enscribe

This will remove just the enscribe package itself.

Uninstall enscribe and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove enscribe

This will remove the enscribe package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for enscribe then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge enscribe

Or similarly, like this enscribe

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove enscribe
