How To Uninstall enscript On Debian 9

To uninstall enscript just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just enscript

converts text to Postscript, HTML or RTF with syntax highlightingDebian 9.0text1.6.5.90-3
sudo apt-get remove enscript

This will remove just the enscript package itself.

Uninstall enscript and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove enscript

This will remove the enscript package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for enscript then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge enscript

Or similarly, like this enscript

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove enscript
