How To Uninstall environment-modules On Debian 9

To uninstall environment-modules just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just environment-modules

Modular system for handling environment variablesDebian 9.0devel3.2.10-10
sudo apt-get remove environment-modules

This will remove just the environment-modules package itself.

Uninstall environment-modules and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove environment-modules

This will remove the environment-modules package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for environment-modules then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge environment-modules

Or similarly, like this environment-modules

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove environment-modules
