How To Uninstall eog-plugins On Debian 9

To uninstall eog-plugins just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just eog-plugins

set of plugins for eogDebian 9.0gnome3.16.5-1
sudo apt-get remove eog-plugins

This will remove just the eog-plugins package itself.

Uninstall eog-plugins and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove eog-plugins

This will remove the eog-plugins package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for eog-plugins then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge eog-plugins

Or similarly, like this eog-plugins

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove eog-plugins
