How To Uninstall erlang-bear On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-bear just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-bear

Set of statistics functions for erlangDebian 9.0devel0.8.2+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove erlang-bear

This will remove just the erlang-bear package itself.

Uninstall erlang-bear and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-bear

This will remove the erlang-bear package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-bear then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-bear

Or similarly, like this erlang-bear

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-bear
