How To Uninstall erlang-cherly On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-cherly just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-cherly

Cherly (sher-lee) is an in-VM caching library for ErlangDebian 9.0devel0.12.8+dfsg-6
sudo apt-get remove erlang-cherly

This will remove just the erlang-cherly package itself.

Uninstall erlang-cherly and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-cherly

This will remove the erlang-cherly package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-cherly then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-cherly

Or similarly, like this erlang-cherly

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-cherly
