How To Uninstall erlang-cuttlefish On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-cuttlefish just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-cuttlefish

Erlang/OTP library for sysctl-like syntaxDebian 9.0devel2.0.10+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove erlang-cuttlefish

This will remove just the erlang-cuttlefish package itself.

Uninstall erlang-cuttlefish and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-cuttlefish

This will remove the erlang-cuttlefish package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-cuttlefish then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-cuttlefish

Or similarly, like this erlang-cuttlefish

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-cuttlefish
