How To Uninstall erlang-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-dbg

Erlang/OTP symbol filesDebian 9.0debug1:19.2.1+dfsg-2
sudo apt-get remove erlang-dbg

This will remove just the erlang-dbg package itself.

Uninstall erlang-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-dbg

This will remove the erlang-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-dbg

Or similarly, like this erlang-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-dbg
