How To Uninstall erlang-esdl-dev On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-esdl-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-esdl-dev

Erlang bindings to the SDL (development files)Debian 9.0devel1.3.1-3
sudo apt-get remove erlang-esdl-dev

This will remove just the erlang-esdl-dev package itself.

Uninstall erlang-esdl-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-esdl-dev

This will remove the erlang-esdl-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-esdl-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-esdl-dev

Or similarly, like this erlang-esdl-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-esdl-dev
