How To Uninstall erlang-guestfs On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-guestfs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-guestfs

guest disk image management system - Erlang bindingsDebian 9.0interpreters1:1.34.6-2
sudo apt-get remove erlang-guestfs

This will remove just the erlang-guestfs package itself.

Uninstall erlang-guestfs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-guestfs

This will remove the erlang-guestfs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-guestfs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-guestfs

Or similarly, like this erlang-guestfs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-guestfs
