How To Uninstall erlang-jiffy On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-jiffy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-jiffy

JSON NIFs (Native Implemented Functions) for ErlangDebian 9.0devel0.14.8+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove erlang-jiffy

This will remove just the erlang-jiffy package itself.

Uninstall erlang-jiffy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-jiffy

This will remove the erlang-jiffy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-jiffy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-jiffy

Or similarly, like this erlang-jiffy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-jiffy
