How To Uninstall erlang-lager On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-lager just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-lager

logging framework for ErlangDebian 9.0libs3.2.4-1
sudo apt-get remove erlang-lager

This will remove just the erlang-lager package itself.

Uninstall erlang-lager and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-lager

This will remove the erlang-lager package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-lager then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-lager

Or similarly, like this erlang-lager

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-lager
