How To Uninstall erlang-manpages On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-manpages just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-manpages

Erlang/OTP manual pagesDebian 9.0doc1:19.2.1+dfsg-2
sudo apt-get remove erlang-manpages

This will remove just the erlang-manpages package itself.

Uninstall erlang-manpages and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-manpages

This will remove the erlang-manpages package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-manpages then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-manpages

Or similarly, like this erlang-manpages

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-manpages
