How To Uninstall erlang-p1-zlib On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-p1-zlib just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-p1-zlib

erlang interface to zlibDebian 9.0libs1.0.1-4
sudo apt-get remove erlang-p1-zlib

This will remove just the erlang-p1-zlib package itself.

Uninstall erlang-p1-zlib and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-p1-zlib

This will remove the erlang-p1-zlib package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-p1-zlib then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-p1-zlib

Or similarly, like this erlang-p1-zlib

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-p1-zlib
