How To Uninstall erlang-ranch On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-ranch just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-ranch

socket acceptor pool for TCP protocols in ErlangDebian 9.0devel1.2.1-3
sudo apt-get remove erlang-ranch

This will remove just the erlang-ranch package itself.

Uninstall erlang-ranch and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-ranch

This will remove the erlang-ranch package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-ranch then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-ranch

Or similarly, like this erlang-ranch

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-ranch
