How To Uninstall erlang-redis-client On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-redis-client just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-redis-client

Redis client for Erlang applicationsDebian 9.0libs1.0.8-4
sudo apt-get remove erlang-redis-client

This will remove just the erlang-redis-client package itself.

Uninstall erlang-redis-client and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-redis-client

This will remove the erlang-redis-client package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-redis-client then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-redis-client

Or similarly, like this erlang-redis-client

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-redis-client
