How To Uninstall erlang-uuid On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-uuid just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-uuid

UUID generator for ErlangDebian 9.0devel0.4.6-1
sudo apt-get remove erlang-uuid

This will remove just the erlang-uuid package itself.

Uninstall erlang-uuid and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-uuid

This will remove the erlang-uuid package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-uuid then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-uuid

Or similarly, like this erlang-uuid

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-uuid
