How To Uninstall erlang-yaws On Debian 9

To uninstall erlang-yaws just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just erlang-yaws

Erlang application which implements HTTP webserverDebian 9.0httpd2.0.4+dfsg-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove erlang-yaws

This will remove just the erlang-yaws package itself.

Uninstall erlang-yaws and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-yaws

This will remove the erlang-yaws package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for erlang-yaws then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge erlang-yaws

Or similarly, like this erlang-yaws

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-yaws
