How To Uninstall eso-pipelines On Debian 9

To uninstall eso-pipelines just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just eso-pipelines

ESO VLT Instrument pipeline collectionDebian 9.0science1.2
sudo apt-get remove eso-pipelines

This will remove just the eso-pipelines package itself.

Uninstall eso-pipelines and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove eso-pipelines

This will remove the eso-pipelines package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for eso-pipelines then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge eso-pipelines

Or similarly, like this eso-pipelines

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove eso-pipelines
