How To Uninstall etherpuppet On Debian 9

To uninstall etherpuppet just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just etherpuppet

create a virtual interface from a remote Ethernet interfaceDebian 9.0net0.3-3
sudo apt-get remove etherpuppet

This will remove just the etherpuppet package itself.

Uninstall etherpuppet and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove etherpuppet

This will remove the etherpuppet package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for etherpuppet then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge etherpuppet

Or similarly, like this etherpuppet

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove etherpuppet
