How To Uninstall etherwake On Debian 9

To uninstall etherwake just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just etherwake

sudo apt-get remove etherwake

This will remove just the etherwake package itself.

Uninstall etherwake and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove etherwake

This will remove the etherwake package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for etherwake then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge etherwake

Or similarly, like this etherwake

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove etherwake
