How To Uninstall euca2ools On Debian 9

To uninstall euca2ools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just euca2ools

tools for interacting with AWS API-compatible servicesDebian 9.0utils3.3.1-1
sudo apt-get remove euca2ools

This will remove just the euca2ools package itself.

Uninstall euca2ools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove euca2ools

This will remove the euca2ools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for euca2ools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge euca2ools

Or similarly, like this euca2ools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove euca2ools
