How To Uninstall exempi On Debian 9

To uninstall exempi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just exempi

command line tool to manipulate XMP metadataDebian 9.0graphics2.4.1-1
sudo apt-get remove exempi

This will remove just the exempi package itself.

Uninstall exempi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove exempi

This will remove the exempi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for exempi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge exempi

Or similarly, like this exempi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove exempi
