How To Uninstall exfat-utils On Debian 9

To uninstall exfat-utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just exfat-utils

utilities to create, check, label and dump exFAT filesystemDebian 9.0otherosfs1.2.5-2
sudo apt-get remove exfat-utils

This will remove just the exfat-utils package itself.

Uninstall exfat-utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove exfat-utils

This will remove the exfat-utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for exfat-utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge exfat-utils

Or similarly, like this exfat-utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove exfat-utils
