How To Uninstall exifprobe On Debian 9

To uninstall exifprobe just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just exifprobe

read metadata from digital picturesDebian 9.0graphics2.0.1-11
sudo apt-get remove exifprobe

This will remove just the exifprobe package itself.

Uninstall exifprobe and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove exifprobe

This will remove the exifprobe package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for exifprobe then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge exifprobe

Or similarly, like this exifprobe

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove exifprobe
