How To Uninstall exiftags On Debian 9

To uninstall exiftags just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just exiftags

utility to read Exif tags from a digital camera JPEG fileDebian 9.0graphics1.01-6+b2
sudo apt-get remove exiftags

This will remove just the exiftags package itself.

Uninstall exiftags and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove exiftags

This will remove the exiftags package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for exiftags then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge exiftags

Or similarly, like this exiftags

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove exiftags
